Lack of housing supply sends home sales retreating in November

The nation’s existing-home sales declined 1.7% in November, according to the National Association of Realtors. Total existing-home sales – completed transactions that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and co-ops – fell to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 5.35 million.
