U.S. existing-home sales fall 1.3% in January

U.S. existing-home sales fell in January, declining 1.3% from the previous month’s pace, according to the National Association of Realtors. Total existing-home sales – completed transactions that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops – rose to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 5.46 million.
